Cllr Hall reported that neighbour notification had been received for the erection of 3 houses behind Trelong Row. No representations had been made by the developer to Cllr Swapp yet.
Mr and Mrs Irving, 2 Trelong Row were not opposed to the development per se but were concerned that the development should be in keeping with the surrounding houses. Cllr Swapp said that that would be very much outside policy as the Catterline setlement boundary was tight behind Trelong Row.
Cllr Watt will ascertain opinion within the wider Catterline village.
Cllr Swapp reported that the application for 9 wind turbines at St John’s Hill had been rejected by the Area Committee by 7 votes to 4.
7. Roads
- South bound speed limit sign at Kinneff has been damaged
- Pot holes at St John’s Hill and back road to Drumlithie
- Building rubble appears to have been tipped by the road to Kinneff church
- Pot hole between Mitton Cottage and Mitton steading.
- Cllr Masson reminded the Council that Roadside of Catterline was originally in favour of street lighting, but confusion had meant that it went to Roadside of Kinneff when the road speed calming measures and improvements were introduced. She also praised the recent fence at the recycling centre.
- A road crossing for cycles at Roadside of Catterline was mentioned before and needs to be followed up.
Secretary will write to Mark Skilling.
