Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar Community Council

Calum Duncan, Scotland Programme Manager of Marine Conservation Society is giving a presentation on marine conservation, with special reference to a proposed ban on fishing in the Catterline - Crawton waters.

The talk with a question and answer session will be part of the communuity council public meeting on 26 June, at 7.30. Everyone welcome.

The community council decided to give the following small grants in its March 2012 meeting:

Catterline Rowers - £50

Kinneff Hall Committee - £150

Kinneff Old Kirk Preservation Society - £150

Senior Citizens' Luncheon Club - £50

Tonight's meeting (Tuesday, 30 November 2010) has been postponed as a result of the inclement weather we are currently experiencing. It will now be held on Tuesday 7th December at 7.30 in Catterline School.

Several people in the Stonehaven area have received phone calls recently purporting to be from "Microsoft Windows" about "virus problems reported by your internet service provider". These calls are scams. Microsoft does not make unsolicted phone calls to help you fix your computer. If you recieve an unsolicted call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, just hang up.

There will be a meeting to discuss the Local Development Plan and the current 'state of play' at Catterline School on Thursday 23rd September 2010 at 7.30pm. Piers Blaxter from Aberdeenshire Council will be present to answer questions.
