2024 Hillhead of Auquhirie Wind Farm Community Fund

From the 1st April 2024, the Hillhead of Auquhirie Wind Farm Community Fund is open for applications from groups / organisations, for projects which benefit the communities in the following Community Council areas:

Arbuthnott
Catterline, Kinneff and Dunnottar
Mearns
Stonehaven & District

Octopus Investments, the energy company who currently owns the Hillhead of Auquhirie Wind Farm, will support local community projects during the lifetime of the wind farm. This year, there is £14,243.39 available for distribution.

A copy of the application form is attached, in both PDF and Word formats, as well as a PDF copy of the guidance sheet. Applications have to be submitted by the 30th June 2024. A panel made up of representatives from the Community Council areas along with a representative (non-voting) from Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP) will then meet to consider the applications.
