From the 1st April 2024, the Hillhead of Auquhirie Wind Farm Community Fund is open for applications from groups / organisations, for projects which benefit the communities in the following Community Council areas:

From the 1st January 2024, the St John's Hill Wind Farm Community Fund is open for applications from groups / organisations, for projects which benefit the communities in the following Community Council areas:

From 1 December 2023, the Upper Criggie Wind Farm Community Fund is open for applications from groups / organisations, for projects which benefit the communities in the CKDCC area.

UCW Energy Limited, the energy company who developed and operates the Upper Criggie Wind Farm, established the fund to benefit groups and projects in the CKDCC area, during the 20-year lifetime of the wind farm. This year there is just over £8,600 available for distribution.
