2024 Community Council Elections

In line with Aberdeenshire Council policy, as of midnight on the 18 September 2024, all current community councillors will stand down, and nominations to join the "new" CKDCC are now open! If you care about your community and want to make it a better place to live, you are strongly encouraged to complete and submit the nomination form attached to this post, by 8 September 2024.

Aberdeenshire Council have produced a number of informative videos about what community councillors do, which you can find on YouTube.

As a community councillor you will be provided with training and support and you will learn about how things work, get to develop and undertake projects and get a real sense of achievement when you see the difference you can make.
